This Guide contains BEST PRACTICES SUGGESTIONS and is for use by trained, certified professionals as a guideline ONLY. It is not for consumer use. The information contained in this Guide is compiled from available manufacturer sources and is accurate to the best of our knowledge, but is not guaranteed. Vehicle and product specifications are subject to constant changes, and not all vehicles, possible fitments or configurations can be listed. This edition of The Ultimate Wheel and Tire Plus Sizing Guide supersedes all prior printed and electronic editions. All warnings must be followed. THE JUDGMENT AND EXPERIENCE OF THE INSTALLER AND THE MANUFACTURER INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO THE INSTALLER AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION OVERRIDE ALL INFORMATION AND PRACTICES IN THIS GUIDE.

The installer must ALWAYS check the wheel, tire, and vehicle, front and rear, before, during, and after installation for proper application, fitment and clearance. Fitment variations may be caused by: Installing wheels or tires other than original equipment or with a different outside diameter may affect systems such as the vehicle’s Anti-Lock Braking System (“ABS”), Electronic Stability Control ("ESC"), traction control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (“TPMS", which monitors tire pressure, usually by sensors affixed to the wheel inside the tire), and the odometer, and may require additional components, balancing, alignment, or recalibration. ALWAYS consult the vehicle, wheel and tire owner's manuals regarding compatibility of these systems before installation. NEVER under any circumstances, alter, modify, disconnect, or remove any of these Systems or any of these components. Lug Nut and Bolt thread sizes and seat type will vary, always confirm before installation. Tire dimensions in this guide are for reference only and may vary due to manufacturing process, tire pressure, and tread depth. Replacement wheels and tires must have a maximum load capacity equal to or greater than original equipment wheels and tires. Replacement tires should be at a minimum, of the same size, construction, load capacity and speed rating as original equipment. The owner's manual and/or placard on door frame, glove box, or fuel door should provide this information, as well as the load index, gross axle weight (GAWR), gross vehicle weight (GVW), and the recommended tire pressure. Tire pressure is also stated on the tire's sidewall. Recommended tire pressure must be maintained. Do NOT exceed these ratings. Wheels and tires bearing loads beyond their load capacity are subject to failure. Always use "extra load" XL tires with plus-sized fitments. When plus-sizing, adjustments may need to be made to the air pressure to meet or exceed the load capacity of the vehicle's original tire. This is the installer's responsibility. For a complete list of load and inflation tables, refer to the load and inflation data published by the Tire & Rim Association Inc. and the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization.
