made without any guarantees on the part of the Author or Wheel
Consultants. The Author or Wheel Consultants will not be
responsible for your use of this fitment guide.
- It is the responsibility of the installer to ALWAYS check wheel, tire,
and vehicle before, during, and after installation for proper application
and fitment. The expertise and judgment of the installer
overrides any and all recommendations in this fitment guide.
- Vehicle wear or modifications to suspension or vehicle
body may cause fitment variations.
- Variances in the vehicle manufacturing process
may cause fitment variations.
- Wheel offset or wheel width may cause fitment variations.
- Tire dimensions will vary due to manufacturing
process, tire pressure, and rim width. And may cause
fitment variations.
- Installing wheels or tires other than original equipment or with a different outside diameter may affect the vehicle’s
Anti-Lock Braking System (“ABS”), and may require additional components or speedometer/computer recalibration.
- ALWAYS test-fit wheel and tire front and rear for proper clearance.
- ALWAYS use the information on the vehicle placard and the vehicle owner’s manual to identify original equipment
tire size, speed rating, air pressure, and load capacity.
- ALWAYS contact the wheel and tire distributor and manufacturer for fitment confirmation.
- ALWAYS follow wheel and tire distributor and manufacturer installation instructions.
- ALWAYS be certain the wheel and tire maintains or exceeds original equipment wheel and tire load capacity.
- ALWAYS be certain the tire maintains or exceeds original equipment tire speed rating.
- ALWAYS consult the wheel distributor and manufacturer regarding compatibility of the vehicle’s Tire Pressure Monitoring
System (“TPMS”) and the wheel before installation on vehicles equipped with TPMS. This system monitors tire air pressure, usually by sensors mounted on the wheel (inside the tire) which communicates air pressure in the tires to the vehicle.
- NEVER under any circumstances, ALTER, MODIFY, DISCONNECT, or REMOVE the vehicle’s Tire Pressure Monitoring
System (“TPMS”).
