How long have you been in business Mark?
Since 1979. I am also a court certified mechanical expert, an ASE Master Tech for the last 28 years.  I am hired to defend shops who are being sued because they last touched a tire 6 months ago, the tire they did not sell, exploded, people died and they become one of many who will be sued  because they should have known better or should have known the tires was defective OR installed tires that did not handle the load or did not adjust the inflation causing abnormal tire wear that caused the tire to fail.

We started using TPC  09/2008

What did you do before there was a Tire Pressure Computer?
Nothing we could do but pray we would never get sued over bad inflation and load information we never provided to our plus sized tire purchasers.

Who should be using the Tire Pressure Computer?
Everyone who changes the tires or wheels on any motor vehicle.

What is the most important reason to use the Tire Pressure Computer?
You have to update the door placard  if you change the tires and wheels or that vehicle will be back with tire wear issues or overloaded tires or worse, you could be served as a defendant in a lawsuit.

Is the Tire Pressure Computer accurate?
Oh precise, perfect are better adjectives.  It may take about 20 minutes to learn this software and anyone who can read can print a new placard.

Is it Easy to use?
Fill out the form with information on the door placard and on the new and old tires, then add the date to the software, then hit done to print a new placard.

What are some of the Benefits of the Tire Pressure Computer?
Customer has the correct information: Your garage keepers Ins Co will kiss you when they find out you replaced the placard with data NO ONE can argue with. No one can say you had 5,000 lbs of tires under a vehicle that had a curb weight of  6,500 lbs and a gross weight of 8,000 lbs.
There's a record of giving the customer the correct information: The placard stays on, no matter what.  You keep the data in a database to show what and how you came to the new inflation numbers.
Peace of Mind: Yes without this I would carry twice my liability Ins Coverage. Not to mention the benefits to our Customers. They get three psi numbers, even the lowest pressure will handle the GVWR. We tell them, use the lowest number for one butt in the seat and maybe the dog. Use the second number if you have 3 or more butts and a cooler and use the third numbers if you are loaded to the gills.
The shops still has the responsibility to make sure the four new tires have the capability to handle the GVWR, and this software will not let you print a label if you  had a tough night last night.
